Trasta komercbanka’s successful conclusion of 2007



Last year „Trasta komercbanka” continued active development, presenting successful results in all fields of its activity.  

According to unaudited financial results of the bank for 2007, Trasta komercbanka ended the previous year with a profit of 15,86 million lats, which is by 59% more than in 2006 when the profit of TKB amounted to  9,98 million lats.

In 2007 the amount of the Bank’s capital and reserves increased by 60% and achieved 31.27 million lats. The amount of TKB transactions also continued to grow and by the end of the year Trasta komercbanka had attracted deposits in the amount of 232.62 million lats, which was by 7.3 million lats more compared to the previous year. The volume of loans granted at the end of the year was 93,53 million lats. The total amount of assets in 2007 amounted to 292.39 million lats, showing a growth of 10% during the year. 

Trasta komercbanka is one of the oldest private banks in Latvia which successfully works on the financial market of Latvia, maintaining the position of a stable and economically viable medium-sized credit institution. Last year TKB was one of the most rapidly and dynamically growing credit institutions of Latvia. In accordance with the unaudited financial results, the Bank’s capital return ROE at the end of 2007 was 68.73%; and its return on assets ROA amounted to 5.45%.

In the eighteenth year of its work TKB continued to develop its service and structure. To draw nearer the clients last year "Trasta Komercbanka" launched two branches - in Liepaya and Daugavpils. A new representative office was opened aboard - in Bulgaria to support its clients’ business and investments in this region. In 2007 “Trasta Komercbanka” prepared for its clients new financial products: Art Banking – investing in the market of art works and Investment Deposit which offers saving and extra profit facilities in the stock market.
